feeding and tired!?

feeding burns up to 500 cals per day so it's no wonder why you are so tired. naps help, but so does protein, and carbohydrates. take a multi vitamin everyday. go on a walk with baby first thing in the morning, that will get your metabolism going strong, and will give you an energy boost for mid day. i feed too. i was worried that a cup of coffee would be bad, but my dr, as well as "what to expect"said not to worry. 1-2 cups a day won't harm the baby. so i drink one first thing in the morning and then another one around 2pm. i have a 9 year old too, so i have to stay alert for her when she gets home form school. oh yeah, babyfood can replace feeding a couple times a day.
