Trade related question... Morneau for Howard?

Personally I wouldn't take the trade. Howard for Morneau straight up is fair. But you giving up on Verlander for Lilly would be just ridiculously sad. Lilly is done, he's left-handed and managers love left handed pitching. Verlander is young and very promising, 1.42 ERA at the moment not too shabby. Plus he's on a winning team with Detroit and compare the lineups Tigers have a bigger advantage than Chi Cubs all do to Placido Polanco the deserving All - Star, finally this year. Howard is great for a youngster, but because of last year he will not see the same type of pitching! Awareness is the key for the pitchers, lots of off the plate pitches trying to get him to swing. Patience will pay off though, but nothing compared to last year. MVP For MVP sounds good. The importance is looking at the teams and the divisions that they play in. AL Central has Detroit and then the Twins with Chi White Sox up their tails only if they decide to be a championship contender, Cleveland wont do anything special. NL East has the Atlanta, New York, Florida, then Philadelphia but currently in last. Philly's team is off to a slow start, believe me, I know with Utley's slow start. If you have to get rid of Morneau thats OK, but DO NOT get rid of Verlander, NO DEAL!!!!!!!!!
