I'm taking the apprenticeship test to get into the IBEW. Interview in March. What qualities do they look for?

I worked for a fence comapny throughout high school and while I was in college. I decided not to finish college because I realized that Psychology wasn't the field I belonged in. I've won many awards for academic performance and volunteer work for the special olympics/ habitat for humanity projects. I'm now 26 years old. My work history includes working as a shop foreman, and now as a sales manager. I transferred to a vocational high school during my sopre year. My first choice for shops was electrical. I was accepted but got my last choice (carpentry). Now that I've gone to college and have realized what I don't want to do, I've come full circle and now want to pursue a career as a Union Electrician. What qualities will the examining board be looking for in prospective apprentices and how do I attempt to stand out from the rest?
