Are there neurons in the vertebrate CNS that function in both sensory and motor systems?

Yes, Within the vertebrate there are nuerons (grey matter) and on the outside there are axons (white matter). Similar to the brain but opposite, the Brain's core is white matter and the outside is grey matter. But yes, the nuerons and axons function in both sensory and motor systems.
